After-sales experience with my Dreame L40 Ultra AE

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone with a similar problem.

My L40 Ultra AE had an issue where the mop pad kept detaching from the rotating mop holder. The robot was first sent for repair and the mop motor was replaced, but unfortunately the problem continued.

After contacting Dreame again and carrying out several checks, we confirmed that the magnetic attachment between the robot and the mop holder was working correctly. The problem appeared to be the Velcro fastening surface on the mop holder itself.

Dreame then sent me two new mop holders to test, and after installing them, together with new mop pads, the problem has been completely resolved. The robot is now working perfectly again.

I really appreciate the follow-up from Dreame customer service and the fact that they kept the case open until the real cause was found.

With a baby and four dogs at home, the L40 Ultra AE has plenty of work every day, so having it working properly really makes a difference for us. 😊
